In March 2015, the National Association for Music Education celebrates the 30th anniversary of Music In Our Schools Month (MIOSM®). What a monumental event for music teachers and their programs!

Music In Our Schools Month® or MIOSM® is NAfME’s annual celebration during March which engages music educators, students, and communities from around the country in promoting the benefits of high quality music education programs in schools.

NAfME’s annual Concert for Music In Our Schools Month (formerly the World’s Largest Concert) also celebrates the 30th Anniversary, and to recognize that, members selected favorite songs from previous Concert repertoire and here we offer lesson plans for some of those songs.

Lesson plans are available only to NAfME members in a searchable database. You must log in with your member number. And bring a deeper meaning of the songs the classroom with these member-written lesson plans MIOSM repertoire:
