Sacramento Voice lessons

I am currently on staff at New Song Church in Lincoln, where I am the music associate. It is such a great opportunity. There, I am able to lead choir rehearsals, teach parts and lead worship. I graduated from William Jessup University in Rocklin, where I had so many incredible singing experiences - one of which included singing for former First Lady Laura Bush! I have been involved in many areas in the Sacramento music scene. One of the areas where I am involved is in an arts competition for teens, where I will serve as an adjudicator. I look forward to doing this every year; it is such an awesome experience to give teens advice they can use to help expand and develop their singing abilities.

There are many different music scenes and venues for singers in Sacramento, one of which is the Best of Broadway. This is a nonprofit organization which allows kids, teens and adults to audition for and perform in live theater shows. Every year, they do a musical review of a collection of Broadway songs. There are also select members that participate in other smaller productions throughout the year. The Music Circus, another Broadway production which pays its singers, is another great opportunity for singers to participate in and a great goal to strive for if you are a singer in Sacramento.

Teaching singing lessons in Sacramento is both challenging and rewarding for me. I have the opportunity to help others reach their goals and succeed in life, and this job also allows me to be a stay at home mom with my six month old baby girl. I am a very positive and uplifting teacher. I believe that no good ever comes from being harsh and condescending to my students. I do challenge my students in order for them to receive growth in their musical abilities; however, I always put a positive spin on everything I teach. One of the greatest benefits of teaching is having a student come back excited and uplifted because they were able to accomplish something they never thought they could.

I firmly believe that no one is ever too young or too old to enhance their musical ability.
