As a student in the Yamaha Classical Guitar Course, you will be learning from our exclusive curriculum, developed by the Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan. Our proven syllabus will facilitate learning of essential music elements.

Performance Opportunities
To showcase the skills achieved, we encourage our students to participate in concerts and competitions. Through such activities, they become more self-confident and willing to share their love of music with family, friends and the public.

The Right Preparation
With the training and guidance our instructors provide, you may want to attempt an examination. If so, our instructors will make sure that you go into the examination confident and, most importantly, prepared.

Course Content

• Melody playing
• Chord accompaniment
• Basic 2 part solo playing
• Development of the left and right hands with regards to classical playing style with 2 or 3 parts harmony
• Passing chords, basses, scales are also taught to give students an insight to popular guitar styles
