Founded by Ellen Masaki over 55 years ago, the Masaki School of Music has taught thousands of Hawaii students, not only how to play the piano and other musical instruments, but through our frequent recitals and community involvement, we strive to educate our students and the community on the need to support live music and professional musicians in our state.

Our goal is to enhance your life through the power of music and only through all our efforts will this gift of music continue to be perpetuated.

Meet the Business Owner

Daughter of Founder Ellen Masaki, Nancy is helping music thrive in students young and young at heart by applying her professional music standards to the operation of Masaki School of Music.

Nancy Masaki is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She has been a member of the Toledo Symphony, Pasadena Chamber Orchestra, Mozart Chamber Orchestra in L.A., the Carmel Bach Festival, the Honolulu Symphony and Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of Punahou School, Nancy was an active member of the Hawaii Youth Symphony for many years.
