Established in 1992, Progressive Music Center is one of the largest music lesson facilities in North Carolina and is nationally recognized by NAMM and the music products industry as an innovative leader in music education. Our group and private music lessons for acoustic/electric guitar, drum and percussion, piano, vocal, violin, bass guitar, saxophone and audio recording are taught by professional teachers with degrees in diverse fields of music and an extensive background in music education.

Our Original School of Rock summer program that we founded in 1996 has been recognized as one of the first "Rock School" band programs in the country, and we continue to innovate that format with our Rock Academy year around band programs.

Progressive Music Center has been featured on the cover of Music Inc. magazine, Entrepreneur magazine, and in featured stories in Modern Drummer, The Music Trades, Canadian Musician and UK based Music Industry News magazine. We hold seats on the NAMM President's Board, the Executive Board of the Percussion Marketing Council (playdrums.com) and are presenters on industry best practices at trade shows and conferences around the United States and Europe.

2012 marked our 20 year anniversary and we are extrempely proud to have such a terrific staff that brings so much to the communities we serve.
