Owner/Managing Director
Connie is a native of the Baltimore/Philly area and a business graduate of the
University of Massachusetts Amherst. She spent most of her career working for a
national bank in a variety of capacities such as customer service, quality assurance,
sales/marketing and relationship management.
Connie was enrolled in keyboard lessons at a very young age, began playing the guitar
while in college, and has performed in several bands throughout the years. She is also
the director of Chick Singer Night Charlotte - an organization
which was established to provide female singers with an
opportunity to showcase their talent by fronting a professional
house band and performing at popular local venues such as
Amos' Southend and Visulite Theater.
Connie's passion for providing quality, affordable, and, most important, FUN music instruction to the families of Charlotte is what lead her to a career at Ballantyne School of Music in early 2010. She recognizes that it's important to every parent to keep their child interested and engaged in their music lessons. Her focus is to always see things from the students' and parents' perspectives and continue to add value to all of their music programs.
