While equipped with all the necessary qualifications, i believe it’s the consistent students achievements and enjoyment that define me as a piano teacher. I can bring you up from scratch to grade 8 easily and AmusA/ LMusA if you are more committed.
I can help you to develop both left and right brain and maximise learning capacity (according to a German method). Students usually can jump to grade 8 in 2-3 years from beginner. Focus on understanding of music, musicality and playing teachniques. Students achievements in competitons and exams have been excellent (eg.9 years old and many 10, 11 years olds, have passed grade 8 with B and A results. A 14 yo and two 12 yo passed AmusA (2 got distinction) etc) Regular winners in Sydney and various Eisteddfod, students got accepted to Sydney conservatorium rising star program) Experienced in teaching young prodigies, or students who want to achieve grade 8 or AMusA as soon as possible, also prepare for competitions and diploma exams or private recitals, or those who just want to enjoy playing some light music with casual lessons.
Lessons mainly take place in my Riverwood studio and Sydney CBD studio both equipped with K.Kawai Grand piano. 5 mins walk from Riverwood a museum stations ( to the east from hyde park) and there are lot of street parking.
